Lance Armstrong Foundation Endurance Race
Dale Sievwright Inc. is proud to announce that we at Charity Motorsport Group will be compete in in our first endurance race this Saturday, July 7th, 2007. The race is a 3 Hour event and we are hoping to not only do well but raise a little money for The Lance Armstrong Foundationin the process. Endurance racing takes a special kind of skill and determination. It is not just about who has the fastest car or who has the guts to keep the pedal to the floor longer…..it is about patience, luck, determination. Sort of akin to the cancer survivor it is about mental toughness, and teamwork. Throw in at least an hour of night racing during this event and we are in for a big challenge!
While we prepare to challenge ourselves for 3 hours, CMG is also challenging you! For every lap that CMG completes during this event we are asking that you donate $.25 to Charity Motorsports Group and our ongoing commitment to The Lance Armstrong Foundation. The average lap time we figure on doing is ~1:30 a lap. So if you do the math, this really adds up to a small contribution on your part. To add to your generosity, CMG is committed to donate $.50 to The Lance Armstrong Foundation for each lap we complete. In addition, should we be fortunate enough to come in first place in our class we will double our donation!
